Parkway Baptist Church is excited to once again offer Upward Basketball and Cheerleading to boys and girls in our community! Upward is a nationally acclaimed sports program for children ages 5 years old through 6th grade.

At Parkway, we love your child more than we love winning. Therefore, we promote character and self-esteem in every child by providing:

• An evaluation process to provide equal teams and equal opportunity for improvement.
• A substitution system that promotes equal playing time for each player.
• A schedule that is easy on your family. Your child practices and plays/cheers for a game once a week. Practice is only one hour each week, and games are only on Saturday mornings.

When your child plays Upward Basketball:

• You sign him/her up individually, not as a group or a team.
• All team members get equal playing time every game.
• He/she will learn new drills to improve his/her basketball skills.
• He/she will receive special recognition awards every game.

When your child cheers for Upward Basketball:

• You sign her up individually, not as a squad.
• She will learn techniques to improve her cheerleading skills.
• She will receive special recognition awards every game.
